Functions
Google Workspace
The Google Workspace connector allows BusinessLog to collect sign-in logs and administrative activity logs from the configured organizations.
Multiple organizations can be connected, each with its own credentials and permissions.
The connector is visible and can be managed only when the Azure module license is enabled.
IMPORTANT:
The connector requires a Google Workspace organization with an active service and subscription.
Standard personal Gmail accounts cannot be used for this integration.
Data collection covers Login and Admin audit logs.
It does not include the contents of emails or documents, searches performed on Google Search, or browsing history.
Preparation and Activation
Before configuring the connector in BusinessLog, a service account must be set up in Google Cloud and authorized to read the organization’s Google Workspace audit logs.
The downloadable guide explains how to prepare credentials, grant permissions, configure BusinessLog, and perform the checks required to complete activation.
Configuration in BusinessLog
Open the BusinessLog Configuration window and scroll down to the Google Workspace section.
The grid allows you to manage configured organizations using the [New], [Edit], and [Delete] buttons.

Click [New] and enter the details following the activation guide. Save the configuration, initially leaving the Active option unchecked.
Select the saved organization and click [TEST connection]. The test uses the stored credentials to verify delegation and access to the Login and Admin audit logs. Once the test succeeds, click [Edit], select Active, and save to enable automatic collection.
The test can succeed even if the checked time interval contains no events. It does not import data into BusinessLog. To complete activation, follow the guide to verify that events from both categories are actually being collected.
The [Refresh] button updates the information displayed in the grid. The Login and Admin checkpoints, shown in UTC, indicate collection progress, not a user’s most recent sign-in.
Viewing Events
When the first log is received, BusinessLog automatically creates a “Google” entry in the Machine List to identify the source of the collected data.
Events follow BusinessLog’s standard Log/Fail processing paths. The LOGIN and ADMIN categories distinguish sign-in events from administrative activities.

The grid displays the information available in each event, including date and time, log type, category, source, and user. The event types supported by the connector can be viewed on the Custom Event IDs page.
