XMLFilesI_E-EN

This section allows centralized management of system configuration export and import.

This feature is particularly useful in scenarios such as migration to a new server, performing periodic backups of system settings, or replicating the same configuration across multiple environments (for exampl: testing and production).

The user can choose which elements to include in the XML configuration file, for example:

  • Configuration provides access to the general system configuration.

  • IP ranges used for machine inventory.

  • Allarms (logs, files, programs) with thwi respective rules.

  • List of administrators and authorised users.

  • Machine list detected or manually registered.

  • Exception list, useful for wxcluding specific events or hosts from monitoring.

Through the dedicated buttons, it is possibile to:

  • Export Configuration: generates an encrypted XML file containing all the selected parameters.

  • Import Configurationallows quick restoration of settings on another BusinessLOG server or after a reinstallation.

This section therefore represents a key tool for operational continuity and scalability, as it reduces manual reconfiguration time and ensures consistency across different environments.
