Privacy Policy

BusinessLog collects the following data from the internal network in which it is installed:

  • IP address and computer name of each machine connected within the configured IP range.

  • User accounts associated with login events recorded in the Windows Event Log.

  • User accounts associated with login events recorded in the syslogs of compatible devices.

  • Applications installed on Windows machines, if Software Inventory is enabled.

  • File names and paths collected through the Log Files module (if enabled and configured).

  • File names and paths collected from external devices (if enabled and configured).

  • List of System Administrators defined in the “Administrators List” table.

  • Email address configured for sending notifications.

  • Telegram Chat ID configured for bot notifications.

All data is stored locally within VistaDB databases, which are protected and encrypted.

If the “Cloud Backup” option is enabled, logs are also replicated to the company Datacentre, ensuring redundancy and enhanced security.

Transmission to the Datacentre occurs exclusively through an encrypted connection secured with a dedicated Microsoft certificate.

Data Transmission Security

  • Logs are written using AES-256 encryption, applied also to temporary files.

  • Email traffic generated by the internal BusinessLog account is encrypted using an SSL certificate.

  • Communications with Telegram are secured using the TLS 1.2 protocol.

  • Communications with OpenAI are secured using the TLS 1.2 protocol.

  • Logs replicated to the Datacentre are encrypted using TLS 1.2 with a Microsoft Azure certificate.

  • Authorisation requests to Azure tenants are protected by SSL certificate.
