Automatic Notifications
BusinessLog includes an internal account for sending emails.
If you wish to customise the sender or if your organisation allows email sending only from specific accounts, complete all the SMTP fields.
ATTENTION:
Since the SMTP parameters are loaded when the application starts, any changes to custom parameters require saving and restarting the application.

Send daily notification
By activating the option, a daily email is sent with a small summary of the logs collected, including:
- Number of collected logs, including those generated by System Administrators.
- Number of failed access attempts, such as system logins or SQL Server logins).
- Current database size.
NOTE: The email subject can be customised with a specific text.
The configuration can be tested by entering an existing email adress and clicking [Send test email].

Telegram
BusinessLog can communicate with Telegram through a ChatBot that you can set up in just a few minutes:
1. Open the Telegram app (on your phone or using the desktop version).
2. Search for “BotFather” and open the chat.
3. With BotFather create a new ChatBot, once you enter write: /newbot.
4. Write a name for the bot (for example, “companybot”). If the selected name is already in use, you will be prompted to enter a different one.
5. Make a note of the received key, which represents your API token.
6. Follow the first displayed link (for exemple t.me/CHATBOT) then click on "Start"
If required, type the /start command to start the bot.
7. In Telegram, search for “Show Chat Id”.
8. Take note of "Your ID" shown at the bottom of the page. This will be your "Chat ID".
9. In BusinessLog > Setting > Automatic Notifications > Telegramenter the required informations.
10. Save the setting, return to the previous screen, and click [Test].
You should receive a notification message. If an error occurs, repeat the procedure and verify the initial steps.
